Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and reliable School Run Driver to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised environment. Duties
- Safely operate a designated vehicle to pick up and drop off students according to scheduled routes.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit, adhering to traffic laws and school policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading students, including helping with any heavy lifting of school equipment or luggage.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks, including tyre pressure, oil levels, and general safety inspections.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, school staff, and colleagues regarding schedules or any delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Follow organisational procedures for reporting any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience as a driver, particularly in commercial driving or delivery roles, is advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required.
- Strong communication skills suitable for liaising with children, parents, and school personnel.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics is desirable but training will be provided where necessary.
- A valid driver’s licence suitable for the type of vehicle used is essential, along with a clean driving record.

Pay: £18.00-£40.00 per hour
