Neighbourhood is seeking an experienced Bartender / Barista to join our team in Chester. This position is a dual role with experience preciously working on a bar preparing cocktails & pouring wines whilst being extremely vigilant with age restrictions, following our challenge 25 policy.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing, payments, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills during busy service periods.
- Able to accept direction and instruction professionally
Experience
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar food service role within a busy restaurant
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations related to sales or inventory.
