About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of our portfolio of city centre hospitality venues.
This is not a bar management role. Instead, you'll be responsible for ensuring our buildings are safe, well maintained and fully prepared for weekend trading. You'll be the person who spots problems before they become emergencies and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Complete daily building inspections across all venues.
- Reset and prepare venues for weekend trading.
- Liaise with contractors and arrange repairs when required.
- Manage maintenance schedules and follow up outstanding jobs.
- Deal with utilities, Wi-Fi, alarms and general building issues.
- Receive deliveries and ensure stock and equipment are stored correctly.
- Ensure the venues remain clean, safe and compliant.
- Source quotes and manage external suppliers where appropriate.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report larger issues to senior management.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is practical and confident with general DIY and maintenance.
- Has excellent organisational skills.
- Can prioritise workload without constant supervision.
- Is confident speaking with contractors and suppliers.
- Has basic IT skills and can troubleshoot simple technical issues.
- Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Has previous experience in facilities, maintenance, hospitality or property management (preferred but not essential).
What We Offer
- £24,000 per annum.
- Fixed daytime hours.
- No late-night bar shifts.
- A varied and rewarding role with plenty of autonomy.
- Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding hospitality business.
If you're someone who enjoys fixing problems, staying organised and keeping busy, we'd love to hear from you.
