About Us
Our business has experienced exciting growth over the last few years, supplying the broadest and strongest range of green, environmentally friendly surface treatment equipment and contract services globally. Serving the UK and Ireland, our cutting-edge technology delivers high-quality machines and contract manufacturing for top-tier sectors, including Formula 1 teams, tier-one automotive manufacturers, and medical device innovators who demand absolute perfection and zero failures.
We are a small, friendly, and ambitious team built entirely on trust, ethics, and mutual support. To support our ongoing expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sales Engineer to grow and develop alongside us, with a clear trajectory toward a senior role in the future.
The Opportunity & Your Role
This is a perfect starting point to learn our technology, products, and customer base from the ground up. You will begin by managing and supporting our smaller-scale projects—ranging from £200 to around £10,000—giving you a safe, hands-on environment to understand how our business operates.
Your time will be dynamically split (typically 2-4 days with customers and 1-3 days in the office/home):
- At our Redditch Facility: Working from your dedicated desk, using our specialized laboratory, and hosting customer visits for hands-on equipment trials and process demonstrations.
- On the Road: Frequently travelling across the UK and Ireland to visit new and existing customers to build face-to-face relationships (includes occasional nights away; all travel is kept within normal office hours).
- From Home: Enjoying home-working flexibility, which will scale up after you complete your initial training and probation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Development: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with manufacturing clients, understanding their technical needs to provide tailored machinery or contract processing solutions.
- Technical Demonstrations: Present technical specifications and conduct hands-on product trials in our test lab or on-site to showcase product benefits.
- Business Growth: Work alongside the wider team to speak with new customers and build the customer base, especially for the contract treatment side of the business.
- Reporting & Tracking: Utilise Microsoft Excel and our CRM to accurately track sales metrics, analyse project data, and report progress.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an individual who wants to work with us:
- Enthusiasm for Engineering: A genuine curiosity or background in manufacturing, engineering, or science. Any specific exposure to coatings, inks, adhesives, or paints is a massive advantage.
- Punctual & Attentive: Someone who respects our clients' time—you respond promptly and always turn up when you say you will.
- Ethical & Honest: A team player who operates with high integrity and cares about minimizing environmental impact.
- Willingness to Work Hard: We provide incredible flexibility and perks, but we expect you to roll up your sleeves, collaborate on group projects, and match the team’s work ethic.
- Strong Communicator & Driver: Fluent English skills to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, paired with confident driving skills for regular road travel.
- Attention to Detail: Our clients expect zero failures. Precision and getting things right the first time are critical to our brand. Make sure you mention attention to detail in your application.
Education and Qualifications
A background in science, manufacturing or engineering would be highly considered, we are looking for a capable and intelligent sales person, an apprenticeship, degree or other higher education qualification would be useful in demonstrating your skillset, but not essential.
What We Offer You
We look after our team, minimise workplace stress, and heavily prioritize internal recruitment and promotion over hiring from the outside.
- Unlimited Holidays: True flexibility to remove the stress of counting days.
- Time Off When It Matters: Your birthday off every year, plus a guaranteed two-week Christmas shutdown.
- Transport: Company vehicle or a structured car allowance.
- Great Culture: A relaxed, casual, and highly accommodating site environment where everyone supports one another and celebrates team milestones together.
- Career Progression: Direct mentorship to transition you into a senior company role as the business expands into new sectors.
