Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £45,000 (Sheffield) and £50,000 (London) depending on experience
In this role you will manage the direct equity valuation process for a growing portfolio of investments across the Bank. You will help shape, maintain and document robust valuation processes, policies and controls that reflect statutory guidance, industry best practice and governance.
You will design, build and maintain robust financial models, define data collection requirements, review company and portfolio-level valuation information, and prepare packs for quarterly valuation meetings. You will work closely with investment, finance, business intelligence and governance teams, and act as a key contact for external auditors and other stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate analytical judgement, numeracy, clear written and verbal communication, and experience of reporting to varied stakeholders. You will also bring experience of interpreting technical requirements and using Microsoft tools confidently. Experience in financial asset valuation, IPEV guidelines or financial modelling would be useful, but is not essential.
