The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in the fenestration industry. on the afternoon shift Monday to Friday 2.00pm - 10.00pm and nights Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6.00am This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for precision manufacturing. You’ll play a critical part in the fabrication of high-quality uPVC windows, using state-of-the-art CNC machinery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the fabrication of aluminium and uPVC fenestration components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and CAD files.
- Ensure all components are produced to the highest standard, with minimal waste.
- Monitor production processes and carry out quality control checks.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and the production planning team to ensure workflow efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with fenestration products (windows, doors, etc.).
- Basic mechanical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work
Desirable:
- Experience with Shirmer and Stuga or similar CNC systems used in the fenestration with be an advantage.
- Forklift licence or other factory equipment training.

Pay: £31,600.00-£33,800.00 per year
