crab processor/picker
We are looking to recruit experienced crab pickers to join our friendly team, earning by
tray rate which starts at £13.75 per tray increasing to £15.75 per tray depending on the volume of trays picked, with the potential to earn £400 - £500 take home pay per week.
Full training will be given and you will bet paid hourly for 4 weeks whilst you train to the required speed to be paid tray rate.
You will be working in a busy crab processing environment, producing high quality handpicked crab meat.
Duties include:
Separating whole crab, removing meat from each section, checking for shell and general housekeeping of your own area and equipment.
You will be working closely with other members of the team, so good communication skills and friendly attitude is essential, we are a family run business that appreciate and value all our members of staff.
Previous factory and food manufacturing experience would be desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
We do require an understanding of food hygiene and health & safety in the workplace.
Own transport will be an advantage due to the early starts (6am) and the variable hours that we work due to crab supply.
