Overview
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Most of our products are supplied to the Quarrying and Recycling sector with parts varying from small part to large chassis.

Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mix paints and coatings according to specified colours and formulations
- Operate spray painting equipment with precision to achieve smooth, even finishes
- Apply paint using hand tools or power tools, ensuring consistent coverage
- Inspect finished work for quality, colour consistency, and surface imperfections
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to uphold safety standards
- Follow health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist with the maintenance of tools and machinery used in the painting process
Requirements
- Proven experience in spray painting or related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in surface preparation and finishing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky items
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
