Salary: £13.06 per hour
Schedule: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Some Saturday working will also be required, this will be on a rota basis.
Enhanced pay:
- Hours worked Monday to Friday in excess of 8 hours per day will be paid at time and a half.
- Hours worked on Saturdays will be paid time and a half.
- Hours worked on Saturdays in excess of 5 hours will be paid at double time.
- Hours worked on Sundays and Public holidays will be paid at double time.

About the Role
This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting the day‑to‑day operation of our large, fast‑paced site. You’ll play a key part in keeping our workshop, yard, vehicles and operational working areas clean, safe and efficient.
You’ll be a visible and trusted presence on site, with real ownership of standards that make a difference every day. This position is essential to keeping our fleet moving, supporting our workshop teams and ensuring our drivers have vehicles they can be proud of.
From maintaining high standards of housekeeping across our workshop and yard environments to supporting the preparation of our transporters so they are presented, clean and ready for MOT and road use, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, variety and being part of a busy, team‑focused operation.
Key Responsibilities
- General upkeep of workshops, stores, yard areas and operational rest spaces, including cleaning, housekeeping and occasional light maintenance work
- Washing and cleaning car transporters to MOT and company standards
- Operating pressure washers and truck wash facilities safely and effectively
- Valeting vehicles as required
- Carrying out ad‑hoc support tasks across the site as required
About You
- Self‑motivated, reliable and able to take pride in maintaining high standards
- A strong team player who enjoys working as part of a busy, dynamic operation
- Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work in an outdoor and workshop environment
- Good attention to detail, particularly when preparing vehicles to compliance standards
- Full UK driving licence required
- Previous experience in a transport, workshop, yard or industrial environment is an advantage, but not essential
