We’re an award-winning & independent, family run business offering customers a Hotel, Restaurant, Butchery, Bakery, Cafe & Pizzeria. We are looking for a Full Time Bread Baker to join our Bakery team. The Bakery sits in the heart of our established Cafe, Bakery & Deli and has its own seating area serving bakery goods, Neapolitan pizzas & gourmet sandwiches.
This is a full-time role including some weekend work, and will include early mornings as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the bakery team in developing and adding to our product range, and create any new product recipes
- Preparing and baking traditional breads
- Support the on-site restaurant chef brigade to produce sweet and savoury products that complement our high-end casual dining restaurant menu
- Mix, prepare and bake all products to ensure consistent high quality
- Assist the bakery team with ordering, stock control and wastage
- Adhere to health & safety, food safety regulations and maintain and update all EHO & HACCP paperwork
- No till work required - front of house bakery team handles transactions
Skills required
- Creative, full of ideas and good knowledge on traditional bread baking
- Some knowledge of sweet treats and pastries
- Organisational skills
- Level 2 Food Hygiene is preferred, however training will be provided

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
