You will support some great characters to live life as independently and enjoyably as possible. This could mean helping someone get out to a social event, supporting with mobility, or simply being a friendly and reassuring face throughout the day.
Being a good listener is key in this role. Residents enjoy sharing their stories, and by taking the time to listen, you will build meaningful relationships and provide care that truly feels personal and respectful.
You will support residents with their daily routines, including personal care such as washing, dressing and grooming, helping with safe movement around the home, and offering companionship and emotional support when it’s needed most. You will also assist with meals, from preparation through to support at mealtimes, always taking individual needs and preferences into account.
Full-time hours are available on both a temporary or permanent basis, with day and night shifts to suit your lifestyle and help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

To be considered, you’ll need:
- At least 6 months’ previous UK care experience
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care including washing, dressing and grooming
- Assisting with safe movement and mobility around the home
- Helping with meal preparation and supporting residents at mealtimes, taking individual needs and preferences into account
- Providing companionship and emotional support throughout the day
- Building meaningful relationships by listening to and engaging with the people you care for
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with your team
- Taking part in ongoing training and development to continually build your skills
