Tetra Tech have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join a collaborative team where your support will help keep projects, suppliers and internal stakeholders moving efficiently.
Purpose & Scope of the Role
As Procurement Administrator, you will provide proactive, reliable and professional support to the Procurement team in Leeds. Working closely with the Assistant Buyer, Buyer, Procurement Manager and Head of Procurement and Property, you will be the first point of contact for procurement enquiries and play a key role in the smooth delivery of day-to-day procurement activities.
Your Impact in this position
You will manage purchase orders, daily requisitions and supplier requests, ensuring information is processed accurately and on time. You will support sourcing activity, tender and quotation administration, supplier onboarding, PQQ processes and approvals for items such as stationery, PPE, travel and accommodation. You will also build strong working relationships across the business and help ensure procurement queries are handled efficiently.

Procurement Administration – Support a wide range of procurement processes, maintaining accuracy, responsiveness and a strong service to internal customers.

Purchase Order & Requisition Management – Process orders, update amendments and provide clear feedback to stakeholders.

Supplier Engagement – Contact suppliers for pricing, availability, documentation and service updates, escalating where needed.

Data, Systems & Records Management – Maintain electronic files, databases and supplier/PQQ records with a strong eye for detail.

Collaboration & Initiative – Work confidently across teams, manage your workload effectively and take ownership of routine queries and tasks.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
You will need strong computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software packages, alongside general office administration experience. A good understanding of procurement policies and procedures is important, as is the ability to interpret data, prioritise work within set guidelines and deliver effective results to deadlines. You should be confident working independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills for dealing with internal customers and external suppliers. You should also be committed to ongoing training and development. A relevant A Level, HNC or equivalent is preferred, and part-qualified candidates or those working towards a professional qualification are welcome.
