Overview:
We are looking for experienced Freelance / Associate Tutors to support the delivery of adult skills provision across Greater Lincolnshire. Tutors may be engaged to deliver one or more of the following vocational areas, depending on their occupational competence and experience:
Health & Social Care – Entry Level 3 Certificate
Hospitality – Entry Level 3 and Level 1 Award
Construction & Health & Safety
Delivery will take place across Greater Lincolnshire and will include face-to-face delivery, with some cohorts delivered through a blended model combining classroom and online learning. Assignments will vary according to learner and contract requirements.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive teaching, supporting learners to achieve their qualification, completing assessment and marking, and maintaining accurate learner and compliance documentation throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment within your specialist vocational area to adult learners at Entry Level 3 and/or Level 1, as appropriate to the assignment.
Deliver face-to-face sessions at agreed locations across Greater Lincolnshire and support blended/online delivery where required.
Plan and deliver engaging sessions that combine vocational knowledge, practical activities and digital learning, adapting delivery to meet individual learner needs.
Carry out initial and diagnostic assessment where required and use the results to inform teaching, learning and individual support.
Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback, support and intervention to maximise achievement and progression.
Complete assessment, marking and associated evidence in line with awarding organisation, quality and contractual requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely programme administration, including registers, attendance monitoring, learner progress records, assessment records and funding/compliance documentation.
Use agreed systems and platforms to maintain learner records and support blended delivery.
Work closely with Workpays colleagues, including engagement and operational staff, to support learner attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development where required, ensuring materials are current, engaging and appropriate for the learner group.
Enbed employability, English, maths, digital skills, safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity and inclusion within delivery where appropriate.
Attend standardisation, quality assurance, CPD and team meetings where required as part of the assignment.
Communicate promptly with the designated Contract Lead regarding learner progress, attendance concerns, risks or issues affecting delivery.
General:
Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Prevent.
Undertake any mandatory training required for the assignment and take responsibility for maintaining relevant professional development and occupational competence.
Work to minimise operational impacts on the environment.
Undertake other reasonable duties relevant to the scope and purpose of the freelance assignment.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties. The requirements of individual freelance assignments may vary according to the qualification, cohort, location and delivery model.
Requirements
A recognised teaching/training qualification at Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
Relevant occupational qualification and/or demonstrable occupational competence in at least one delivery area: Health & Social Care, Hospitality, or Construction & Health & Safety
Current knowledge and experience relevant to the vocational area being delivered
Previous experience of delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities or training to adult learners
Experience of delivering accredited qualifications and working to awarding organisation and quality requirements
Experience of maintaining accurate learner, assessment and funding/compliance records
Pay: £125.00 per day
