Remuneration: £26,000 – £28,000 (Base) + £6,000 – £8,000 (Service Charge/Tronc)
Total OTE: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum

Set within three acres of stunning Kentish gardens, Boys Hall is a restored 17th-century manor featuring a 65-seater restaurant, two private dining rooms, a boutique pub, and nine luxury guest rooms. Since our opening, we have secured 2 AA Rosettes and earned a reputation as one of the UK’s premier boutique destinations. As we look toward an ambitious 2026, we are seeking a disciplined and passionate Chef de Partie to join our brigade.
The Culinary Mission
Situated in the "Garden of England," our kitchen is defined by its connection to local producers and the use of our own 3-acre estate. We specialize in open-fire cooking and hyper-seasonal dishes. Our team is composed of highly skilled chefs with extensive experience in Michelin-starred and fine-dining environments, dedicated to precision, modern gastronomy, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
The Role: Chef de Partie
As a CDP at Boys Hall, you will take full ownership of a designated section of the kitchen. You will be an integral part of a team that thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, delivering a world-class guest experience across our restaurant, lounge areas, and private events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Section Management: Maintain total control over food preparation, cleanliness, and organization within your assigned station.
- Menu Execution: Prepare and present high-quality dishes that meet the exacting standards of the Head Chef.
- Seasonality & Innovation: Support the development of innovative menus that showcase the best of Kentish produce and open-fire techniques.
- Consistency & Control: Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management to ensure every dish meets our 2-Rosette standard.
- Mentorship: Support the wider kitchen team, assisting in the development of junior chefs and ensuring a collaborative working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a busy, high-quality kitchen environment.
- Technical Skill: A strong understanding of modern culinary trends, best practices, and high-level kitchen operations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure seamless service.
- Efficiency: Highly organized with the ability to manage the demands of a multi-faceted business (Restaurant, Rooms, and Garden).
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid work permit/visa.
