Overview
MK Battery International are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers while providing excellent customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and being part of a professional and customer-focused company.
The successful candidate will be based at our depot located in Ashton Under Lyne. The role involves loading and unloading vehicles at the depot and completing deliveries within the designated service area. Applicants should be able to travel reliably to and from the depot each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers according to scheduled routes.
- Load, unload, and secure items within the delivery vehicle.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Obtain proof of delivery and complete relevant paperwork or electronic records.
- Provide excellent customers service and always maintain a professional manner.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet delivery targets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and security of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate with the customer service team regarding delays, incidents, or delivery updates.
- Carry monthly stock takes.
- Communicate with local salesperson
Skills and Requirements
- Full, valid UK driving license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- C1 /Current CPC holder minimum.
- Previous delivery driving experience / customer service skills
- Good knowledge of local roads and route planning.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately using paper-based or electronic systems
- Understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Forklift and Warehouse Experience.

Pay: £105.00-£112.00 per day
