Now we are looking for a passionate & detailed orientated chef to join our teams in Penarth & Cowbridge 2-4 services a week. Weekend work will be required.
Our brunch chefs benefit from a great work life balance, with the average shift pattern of 7:30 - 16:00, our teams are perfect for those looking to move away from evening services so they can prioritise time with loved ones. With as much made from scratch as possible there’s plenty of opportunities for creative input as our chef’s collaborate on seasonal specials for both our brunch and counter offerings. From our signature overnight bacon to our counter full of sandwiches and lunch options we work hard to ensure that at every stage our fresh produce takes centre stage, with our focus on highlighting the top quality ingredients we’ve sourced.
As a Brunch Chef you will:
- Have plenty of previous experience in chef roles
- Be detail orientated, with a focus on quality
- Be comfortable working solo or as part of a small team
- Assist in the necessary prep of fresh food items for the sites that you work at
- Assist in the prep & distribution of house produce to our other brunch kitchens
- Work across multiple locations as required for cover for the wider kitchen team
- Take responsibility for ordering stock & completing stock takes at the end of each month
- Communicate & feedback with senior members of the management team if there are ways we can improve produce or procedures
