Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support individuals in following their tailored care plans to meet their specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Help with daily household tasks including meal preparation, light cleaning, and medication reminders
- Maintain clear communication with team members and family members regarding care progress and any concerns
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
- Drive to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation for clients in accordance with road safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs with flexibility
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation responsibilities
