Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C
- Design and implement robust APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to facilitate smooth data exchange between systems
- Maintain version control using tools like SVN and GitHub, ensuring code integrity and traceability
- Optimize application performance on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure by leveraging services like RESTful APIs and MySQL databases
- Write clean, efficient code for front-end development focusing on user experience and responsiveness
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve system reliability and security
- Work with Linux-based environments and utilize tools like Git for continuous integration and deployment processes
- Participate in agile development cycles, providing technical insights and innovative solutions throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles along with experience working on user interface design
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and GitHub for collaborative coding efforts
- Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure for application deployment and management
- Knowledge of SQL databases including MySQL and application development involving RESTful APIs
- Experience working in Linux environments and utilizing tools like Git for source control management
- Ability to develop applications using.NET framework or similar technologies; VBA scripting skills are a plus
- Understanding of software development best practices including testing, debugging, documentation, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication abilities to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: £44,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
