We are recruiting a Dimensional Stone Operative to operate our highly sophisticated stone production facility from its Crosland Hill Quarries in Huddersfield which is part of the progressive family-owned Myers Group.

- Typical Hours 5.30am/6am to 3.30pm/4pm Monday to Friday, plus some Saturday Mornings

What you'll be doing
- Trainee Stone Dresser, no experience necessary, full training provided to develop a career in the skilled craft of natural stone dressing.
- Working as part of a team operating a dimensional stone production line.
- Manufacturing natural stone masonry products Manufacturing natural stone paving.
- Ensure that you only operate plant that you are trained and authorised to operate. Work in a safe manner to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Able to operate machines, after suitable training provided.
- Sound knowledge of dimensional stone product and materials
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems at source
- Excellent approach to Health & Safety
