This position represents a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical/engineering/assembly background who has the capacity to understand simple engineering drawings and work with hand held power tools. Assembling bespoke conveyor systems either at base HQ (based close to Kirkby-in-Ashfield) or occasionally working at the customer site, the role involves following drawings to assemble machinery using hand held power tools (drills, impact drivers and so forth). Aspects of the job require good dexterity and manual handling skills, with the ability to lift and carry materials. Whilst training will be provided, applicants should have previous experience of working within a similar environment and/or have studied an engineering related subject. This is a permanent position providing the opportunity to grow and develop within a forward thinking, ambitious business. In addition to the stated requirements, a full, clean driving licence, is highly desirable. As part of the installation team, some flexibility will be required to travel and occasionally work away from home, although infrequent candidates must be in a position to offer such flexibility
