Job Summary
Giltbrook Electrical Distributors is an independent electrical wholesaler selling to trade and public. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Telesales Executive to join our energetic sales team at our Bingham branch.
In this role, you will be the voice of our company, engaging with clients through outbound calls to promote our products and services. Your enthusiasm and persuasive communication skills will drive new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to our growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, processing enquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to clients, introducing our offerings with confidence and clarity
- Identify customer needs and tailor sales pitches to highlight relevant benefits of our products or services
- Follow up with leads and nurture relationships to convert prospects into loyal customers
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to enhance sales approaches
- Serve on the trade counter when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or similar roles is highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal skills with the ability to persuade and build rapport over the phone
- Basic understanding of sales processes and techniques in a fast-moving environment
- A background in electrical wholesale, distribution, or the electrical industry is preferred but not essential
- Good organisational and computer skills
