Lead a service in an employee-owned organisation
At CLBD Limited, we are a proud employee-owned company. We believe everyone we support deserves a happy, meaningful and flourishing life, and that every day is a new opportunity to create positive experiences for the individuals we support.
We are proudly employee-owned. This means the company is held in trust on behalf of its employees, giving our team a meaningful stake in the company's future. Employee ownership promotes transparency, shared success and long-term stability, and ensures decisions are made with both staff and the people we support at the heart of everything we do. The company is held on behalf of its staff, not private investors.
For a manager, that's more than a benefit it's a different way of leading. You won't be delivering targets set by distant shareholders; you'll be helping shape the service, and the company.
We recognise the vital role each member of our team plays in making a real difference.
About the Role
CLBD is seeking an experienced, compassionate and resilient Registered Manager to lead support for autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities. You'll oversee a service that help people live full, flourishing lives, building skills, confidence and connection to their community.
As Registered Manager, you'll hold CQC registration for your service and take the lead on care quality, regulatory compliance, staff development and outcomes for the people we support. It's a role for a confident leader who is genuinely passionate about building a team that delivers it consistently. Some of the people we support may at times express distress through their behaviour, and a central part of your role is leading a calm, skilled and well-supported team who help them feel safe and understood.
It's demanding work. It's also some of the most rewarding leadership there is: watching a service you've shaped grow in quality and confidence, developing your team into the practitioners they want to become, and seeing the difference a well-led service makes to someone's life.
What you'll bring
We're looking for a leader with the right values as well as the right credentials. Someone who stays calm under pressure, is fair and consistent with their team, and holds the people we support to the same standard of respect they'd want for their own family.
Essential Requirements
· Experience leading services for people with learning disabilities, ASD, mental health needs and/or behaviours of concern
· NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or working towards completion
· Willingness to undertake further professional development and training
· Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs)
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Desirable Qualifications & Training
· Qualifications relevant to Learning Disabilities and/or ASD
· Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) knowledge and experience
· BILD accredited training
· Understanding of restrictive practice reduction approaches
If you’re compassionate, motivated, and looking for a rewarding career with genuine progression opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
