Office Administrator – Property Lettings & Block Management

Salary: £25000 – £30000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator with experience in the property lettings and block management sector to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced property environment and can provide efficient administrative support across our lettings and property management operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting property managers, landlords, tenants, leaseholders, and contractors while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the lettings and block management teams.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate property, tenant, landlord, and leaseholder records.
- Assisting with tenancy administration, including renewals, referencing, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with contractors.
- Supporting service charge administration and property management processes.
- Preparing letters, reports, meeting documents, and property-related paperwork.
- Scheduling appointments, inspections, and meetings.
- Updating CRM and property management systems.
- Assisting with health and safety compliance records and statutory documentation.
- Delivering professional and efficient customer service to clients and residents.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within property lettings, residential property management, or block management. This requirement is vital.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience using property management software such as Alto, CFP, Arthur, Fixflo, Qube, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of residential lettings legislation and block management procedures.
- ARLA Propertymark or IRPM qualifications (or willingness to work towards them).
- Full UK driving licence.
