About Us
Postal Repairs UK operates one of the UK's leading specialist watch repair businesses, handling thousands of customer repairs each year from across the country.
From battery replacements and pressure testing through to servicing and specialist repairs, we help customers keep their watches running for years to come.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised, trustworthy and detail-focused individual to join our workshop administration team in a key operational role.
The Role
This position sits at the heart of our business and supports the entire customer repair journey from the moment a watch arrives with us through to its safe return to the customer.
You will play an important role in ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience whilst helping valuable and often sentimental watches move efficiently through our workshop.
This is not a typical administration role. Every day is different and you will work closely with our workshop team, suppliers and customer service team within a specialist and growing industry.
For the right individual, there will be opportunities to develop into repair estimating, workshop coordination and broader operational responsibilities as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and booking in customer watches and repair parcels.
- Opening and processing incoming customer shipments.
- Photographing and documenting customer items accurately.
- Supporting and, over time, progressing to preparing repair estimates and quotations.
- Supporting the customer service team with repair progress updates and timescales.
- Monitoring repairs throughout the workshop process.
- Preparing outgoing customer shipments and documentation.
- Supporting stock control and parts administration.
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers where required.
- Maintaining accurate records throughout the repair process.
- Helping ensure repairs move efficiently through the workshop.

Desirable Experience
Whilst not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Watches or jewellery.
- Luxury goods.
- Repair administration.
- Service centres or after-sales environments.
- Workshop administration.
- Quality control or inspection roles.
- Stock control or logistics.
- Customer service administration.
- Preparing quotations or estimates.
An interest in watches, engineering or mechanical products would be welcomed but is not essential.

Requirements
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to reliably commute to Altrincham WA14.
- Minimum two years' experience in administration, customer service or service coordination roles.
- Experience using CRM systems, databases or booking systems.
- Comfortable handling valuable, delicate and sentimental customer property.
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
