Domestic Cleaner – Job Requirements & Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our growing cleaning business.
The role involves travelling to different customers’ homes within the local area and providing a consistently high standard of domestic cleaning.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own reliable vehicle
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Excellent attention to detail
- A professional and friendly approach
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Comfortable working in different customers’ homes
- Good communication skills
- Respectful of customers, their homes and belongings
- Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided
- Willingness to travel to properties within the local surrounding areas
Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
- Cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers
- Cleaning kitchens, including worktops, sinks and appliances
- Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces
- Emptying bins
- General tidying where required
- Changing bed linen when requested
- Carrying out detailed cleaning to a high standard
- Following individual customers’ cleaning requirements
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Ensuring each property is left clean, tidy and presentable
- Maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with customers

Pay: £14.00 per hour
