Experienced Dog Groomer
Bark Avenue Grooming Ltd is a successful, busy and luxury dog grooming salon based in the centre of Culcheth. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent service to our clients and focus on exceptional and quality grooms.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified dog groomer to join the team on an employed basis. This position will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with a paid break included.
You must have at least 1-2 years busy salon experience and a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) minimum. Additional training and support will be provided.
You must be capable of grooming at least 4 dogs per day from start to finish whilst ensuring your grooms are to the highest standard.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and is open to learning from others. Our salon is a calm and relaxed environment where you will be given the time to practice and hone your skills with the support from the owner.
We are a family run business with a growing client base and many regular customers. We have an excellent reputation which we hope we can share with the right groomer and have someone to work alongside us.
In addition to the usual dog grooming responsibilities, you must be able to communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on breed standards and current trends. You will also be asked to help manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and client enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
As an experienced dog groomer, you will be able to demonstrate that you have knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and a wide range of grooming techniques. You will also have experience of safely handling and restraining dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Your attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high grooming standards will be essential.
