Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative specializing in Picking and Packing! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected, carefully packed, and efficiently prepared for shipment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers.
We do live streaming daily on what Not and other platforms, time keeping is key as we have to get stock in and out as fast as we can.
Driving licence preferred.
Duties
- Pick items from stock based on order specifications using warehouse management systems.
- Pack products securely to ensure safe transit, adhering to quality control standards.
- Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques.
- Manage materials handling tasks efficiently to maintain stock accuracy and organisation.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing goods.
- Stock shelves accurately, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and properly documented
- Conduct regular quality checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in picking & packing operations but not necessarily.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and heavy lifting safety procedures.
- Experience with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and shipments training can be provided
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock management
- Physical stamina for load & unload tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy items regularly.
- Working well as a team or independently
- Sometimes assisting customers when purchasing goods/pallets
Pay: £12.71 per hour
