We are an independent used car dealership based in Southampton, looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Administrator to join our busy team.
This is a varied office-based role, with the main responsibility being the preparation, checking and organisation of dealership paperwork. You will also help keep records up to date and support the sales and management teams with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and checking customer and sales paperwork
- Organising documents for vehicle purchases, sales and handovers
- Updating customer, stock and vehicle records
- Filing, scanning and securely storing important documents
- Checking that paperwork is complete, accurate and signed correctly
- Preparing invoices, receipts and other dealership documents
- Supporting finance and warranty administration
- Communicating with customers when additional information or documents are required
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Liaising with the sales team, drivers, suppliers and external companies
- Keeping internal spreadsheets and systems accurate and up to date
- Helping ensure all administration is completed before customer collections and handovers
- Carrying out general office and administrative duties
What We’re Looking For
- Confident working with paperwork and confidential information
- Comfortable using computers, email and spreadsheets
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, professional and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous administration experience is preferred but not essential
- Full UK Driving License
- Multilingual or bilingual applicants are highly encouraged
Training will be provided for the right person. We are mainly looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and the ability to keep paperwork and records organised in a busy environment.
Pay: £25,420.00-£39,179.13 per year
