General Kitchen Assistant / Driver – The Revel Primary School
Location: Monks Kirby, Rugby
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11.00am–2.15pm
Contract: Term Time Only
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic General Kitchen Assistant / Driver to join the team at The Revel Primary School in Monks Kirby.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a part-time position that fits around the school day, with no requirement to work during school holidays.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunchtime periods
- Helping with washing up, cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Delivering food and supplies as required
- Helping to ensure the kitchen operates safely and efficiently
About you
Previous catering or kitchen experience would be an advantage, but we’re happy to provide training for the right person.
You will need:
- A full, clean driving licence – this is essential for the role
- A positive and willing attitude
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team
- Good personal hygiene and an understanding of food hygiene
- Good communication skills
- The ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
- Reliability, flexibility and a willingness to get involved
