Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach's to join Glasgow Girls FC for our academy teams. We are an SFA Quality Mark Legacy club with great youth football set up. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players, recruitment, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about football coaching and teaching to make a meaningful impact on young footballers’ development as well as further their career.
We will pay travel expenses.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to the under 10’s/12's age group and different skill levels
- Develop customised training programmes to improve individual and team performance
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players to enhance their skills and confidence
- Recruit players for the team
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined sporting environment
Requirements
- SFA Introduction to Coaching 1.1 (If successful we will guide you through the PVG Proccess, and nessesary SFA courses)
- Player Recruitment Skills
- Excellent organisational skills to plan effective training sessions
- Able to attend training and matches (Tuesday 6pm-7pm & Thursday 5:30-7pm, Sunday matches)
Pay: £50.00 per month
