JDI Legal are currently working with a friendly and reputable law firm who have been around for some 60+ years and have a strong high street presence.
Based in lovely offices of a bustling market town, they have modern practices and systems in place and offer a secure, a supportive working environment and have excellent staff retention .
Whilst the firm offer a range of client services, they have a hugely successful and busy residential conveyancing team who handle a mix of private and referrer matters and are looking to add to their team by recruiting a further fee earner. This individual could be an experienced paralegal, licensed conveyancer or solicitor as long as they have a proven track record of running their own transactions including Sales and Purchases - freehold and leasehold, Right to Buy, Remortgage, Transfer of Equity, Shared Ownership etc.
IT literacy is important in this position as the firm do have a modern case management system to progress matters.

Duties
- Manage the conveyancing process for residential property transactions, including sales and purchases.
- Conduct thorough property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure effective communication throughout the process.
- Provide clients with clear advice on legal matters related to their property transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all deadlines are met efficiently while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Skills
- Experienced Paralegal, Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong organisational skills to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly to clients and other parties.
- Proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to conveyancing processes.
