Due to being awarded a substantial contract, we are now seeking Safety Mates to join our expanding team. These opportunities will be managed from our Hamilton business, from which, we deliver services to clients throughout the UK.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, but with significant onsite responsibilities, these opportunities will require you to be:
- Familiar with DNO Cable Jointing techniques (LV)
- Experience in testing
- Keen to fulfil customers’ targets involving overtime when required
The successful applicant will possess:
- Demonstrable cable jointing/safety mate experience and competence (LV)
- Competent in completion of Risk Assessments and the ability to understand Method Statements and safe sequence of operations
- DNO Authorisations preferably SPEN /WL-2
- First Aid certified preferred but not essential
- Full UK Driving licence
- Good communication; both verbal and written
- Able to work under own initiative, as well as within teams
- Enthusiastic and Knowledgeable
- Be able to demonstrate leadership approach to health, safety and environmental obligations
