Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced construction site manager to oversee our mixed-use new development site in Towcester from its early on-site stages (now) to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality work and safety compliance, reporting to the main contractor and client, holding site meetings, and delivering projects within the programme.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors construction teams.
- Communicating with subcontractors project manager to ensure quality and timeframes standards are met.
- Develop and comment on programmes, suggest ideas, and highlight issues.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, conducting regular site inspections.
- Coordinate delivery of materials.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and project delivery.
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and updates for main contractor.
- Address any issues or delays promptly to minimise impact on project timelines.
Experience
- Site manager experience in residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects.
- GOOD COMMUNICATION, ORGANISATION, AND PROFESSIONALISM.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites is required. SMSTS
