Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar & Restaurant Staff to join our lively team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid and involve engaging with customers to ensure their visit is memorable and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly guest service
- Serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Preparing simple food items and assisting in the kitchen as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Managing cash register operations and handling payments securely
- Ensuring food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Assisting with restocking supplies and maintaining stock levels throughout shifts
- Providing a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and addressing any enquiries or concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
