As a Registered Health Care Professional working in immunisations, you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering safe and effective services in the delivery of COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
Your main duties will be the drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials and safely vaccinating patients.
Whilst on duty you may also be asked to:
- Assist with the setup of your vaccination station
- Assist the Clinical supervisor when required – May be delegated the role of support to clinical supervisor as a ‘second checker’ for safe removal of vaccine vials from fridge (This will include record keeping)
- Delegated ‘Lead Resus Role’ for the session
- Preparation of the vaccine prior to administration
- Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to local and national policies and procedures.
