Job Title: Nursery Practitioner level 3

We are currently seeking an experienced & enthusiastic level 3 nursery practitioner to join our family run nursery based on the outskirts of Romford/Hornchurch. Our nursery has been open for 4 years and has already gained a good ofsted report. We are looking for someone who is kind, caring and dedicated to the role. We are happy to help train staff in new areas and help reach your professional goals. We are looking to find a role model for our apprentices and build a home from home environment for children and parents alike.
Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records and reporting to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth running of the nursery, including participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership working.
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, including regular cleaning and sanitising of toys and equipment.
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring the well-being of all children in your care.

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ 3 in Childcare)
- Knowledge of the new EYFS framework, development matters and birth - 5 matters and its implementation in practice.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
