Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably clean for our guests.
- 5/7 days includes weekends
- 10am-2 pm
- 20hr contract
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces as required.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as necessary.
