Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidates will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in catering, serving, and food safety while working in a dynamic setting. Previous restaurant, bar or barista experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly and ensuring they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience
- Supporting catering events and special functions as needed
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A genuine interest in hospitality, food service, or related fields such as barista experience or restaurant work is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
