Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.
Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a Product Genius/Stock Coordinator who can inspire and engage customers by sharing a genuine passion for our products. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional, pressure-free experience by providing clear and comprehensive product information throughout the customer journey, while maintaining the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction.
As a Birchwood Product Genius, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by showcasing our products and technology in an engaging and informative manner. You will also support the effective management and coordination of vehicle stock. Full brand and onsite training will be provided.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct product presentations
- Deliver tailored technology appointments
- Provide enhanced test drive experiences
- Carry out initial product presentations
- Keep up to date with the latest brand technologies and product information to confidently answer enquiries and explain specifications in a clear, friendly manner
- Support the Sales Team by sharing product knowledge
- Use digital tools and smart technology to deliver engaging vehicle walk-arounds for new and used stock
- Maintain and develop company and industry knowledge through relevant training
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
- Handover customers to Sales Executives for financial discussions, deal closure, and valuations
- Demonstrate the importance of excellent customer service at all times
- Handle telephone enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
- Welcome and assist all visitors to the department courteously and efficiently
- Support in maintaining an effective customer follow-up system
- Manage and maintain our Digital/External Forecourt Displays
- Coordinate vehicle deliveries, transfers, and movements between sites
- Ensure all vehicles are correctly prepared and displayed on-site
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure vehicles are prepared ready for sale
- Ensure all compliance and documentation relating to vehicle stock is completed accurately

Package:
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
- Hours: 41.5hrs per week - Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 18:00, Saturday 08:30 to 17:00, day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working.
- Holiday: 22 days per year + bank holidays
