Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our Subway Sandwich Artist team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads according to company recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh, presented attractively, and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and upselling additional items where appropriate
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
- Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining area to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and portion control
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers courteously and effectively
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering quality customer service
