Job Overview
We are seeking a Private Clinic Nurse to join our integrative medicine clinic, offering testing including bloods/ gut microbiome/ NGS testing for chronic UTIs as well as I/V VItamin therapy.
The successful candidate will have an interest in nutrition and integrative medicine as well as experience and knowledge in NHS standard of care. It is preferable to have an independent prescribing qualification.
Our aim is to grow our established online clinic , treating patients mainly with autoimmune conditions and Long Covid as well as providing a private testing facility.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated nursing professional to work in an innovative and exciting new area alongside an established prescribing pharmacist and integrative practitioner. The position is part time and requires experience in I/V set up and phlebotomy.
We welcome new ideas in the present changing environment of delivering healthcare and would expect the successful candidate to be interested in developing the role further.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care alongside other HCPs
- Phlebotomy
- Regular I/V treatments
- Monitor patient vital signs and record relevant health information
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Prepare examination rooms and assist with equipment sterilisation and setup
- Support administrative tasks such as updating patient records and scheduling appointments
- Skills:
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or healthcare environment
- Preferably independent nurse prescriber, but not essential
- Competence in medication administration with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
This role is ideal for a nursing professional who is possibly looking to work less and more flexibly than standard NHS hours. The owner of the business is a prescribing pharmacist and integrative practitioner and is looking for someone who will work alongside her to grow certain aspects of the business. We envisage one or two days a week with the possibility of extending hours depending on new services that the candidate may be able to offer.
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
