Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bathroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and renovating bathroom facilities mainly on bathroom adaptations. Your expertise will help transform spaces into functional, stylish, and durable environments that meet clients’ needs and expectations. Own transport and tools essential.
Most of our work is in the Hastings area but we cover all of East Sussex.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bathroom fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, cabinets, and tiles with precision and care
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Perform plumbing tasks including connecting water supply lines, drainage systems, and ensuring leak-free fittings
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing bathroom installations to improve functionality and appearance
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of work to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in the transportation of materials and heavy lifting of fixtures or equipment as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in bathroom fitting or related construction trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and plumbing tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, fixtures, and basic electrical components is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
- Carpentry skills for framing or adjusting structures as needed for installation accuracy
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment
- Knowledge of assembly techniques for bathroom fixtures and cabinets.
Pay: £180.00-£230.00 per day
