We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Assistant to join our team at the Draycott branch. Both full-time and part-time roles are available. Your Role
This role combines accurate dispensing support with strong customer service. You will work closely with the pharmacy team and be a key point of contact for patients. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Welcoming and assisting customers with product enquiries and general wellbeing needs
- Helping customers understand the health services and advice available
- Working with the rest of the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and good service
- Handling documentation and basic administrative tasks
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge through ongoing training
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a pharmacy or dispensing environment is essential. We are looking for someone with a customer-first attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure. A professional, reliable approach and a willingness to contribute to a small, supportive team are equally important.
Preferred Qualities
- Proven experience in a pharmacy or dispensing role
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based applications
- Ability to work both as part of a small team and independently when required
