Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our dynamic educational team, supporting primary, secondary, and special education settings. As a Supply Teacher, you will bring energy, creativity, and expertise to classrooms, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction and support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on learners of all abilities, including those with disabilities and autism, while working in diverse school environments. Paid positions available for both short-term and long-term placements, providing flexibility and valuable experience for aspiring educators or experienced teaching professionals.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and age groups, adapting to the curriculum and individual student needs
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with disabilities or autism, by implementing tailored strategies
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions and consistent student support
- Use creative writing techniques to develop stimulating activities that foster student engagement and literacy skills
- Provide mentorship and tutoring to students who require additional academic assistance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, student progress, and any incidents during your placement
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience supporting students with disabilities or autism is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods creatively to meet diverse learning needs
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring students to enhance their academic performance
- Background in teaching or related fields is preferred but not mandatory for all roles
- Passion for education, patience, and a proactive attitude towards student development
