We currently specialise in Business Studies, helping students reach their full academic potential in this subject. As we expand our reach, we are looking for a creative and committed volunteer to help us connect with students, parents, and the wider community online.
The Role
As our Volunteer Social Media Manager, you will take ownership of SIOC Academy's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. You will be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content that speaks to both students and parents, helping us grow our audience and communicate our mission effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule content across all SIOC Academy social media platforms.
- Manage a shared content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Design visuals and multimedia content using tools such as Canva.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyse performance metrics and provide regular updates on campaign progress.
- Collaborate with the SIOC Academy team to maintain organised and consistent content.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices, including the use of AI tools.
Who We Are Looking For
- Someone with a strong understanding of social media platforms and how to tailor content for different audiences.
- A confident communicator with excellent written skills and a creative eye for design.
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Google Drive, or social media scheduling platforms is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage their own time and workload.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to succeed.
