LEASING ASSOCIATE
The YardHouse is looking for a Leasing Associate to help drive our lease-up and the ongoing re-let of our co-living homes.
You'll give our residents a positive and memorable leasing experience from the very first enquiry. This is a new building opening in White City, so you'll be joining at the ground floor and helping shape how we lease and operate from day one. Be part of a vibrant, effective and supportive team, hit your targets and deliver a genuinely exceptional level of service. Interested? Keep reading.
THE ROLE
- First point of contact for leasing enquiries across the building
- Follow up leads, register applicants and understand what they're looking for, matching them to the right home and membership offer
- Arrange viewings promptly and deliver a first-class tour. Sell the full co-living experience, not just the home: the shared amenity, the social calendar, the on-site team and everything else that makes Yardhouse different, all in line with our brand values
- Confidently explain how co-living works to people who may be new to it: what's included in the membership, how the shared spaces and community work, and the flexibility on offer
- Manage applications from let agreed through to move in, keeping the follow-up and vetting process tight throughout
- Progress referencing, liaising with our referencing provider and applicants
- Record and process customer information accurately, capturing feedback for management reporting
- Manage and meet the KPIs set by the Leasing Manager
- Notify broadband, utility suppliers and council tax of new and ending tenancies for resident set up
- Coordinate inventory production, working closely with the Leasing Manager
- Escalate any end of tenancy charge disputes to the Leasing Manager
- Grow revenue through additional streams such as parking, storage and amenity hire
- Support the Leasing Manager on competitor analysis, resident service reports and headline rent prices
- Drive renewals and retention through effective negotiation, keeping our community settled and occupancy strong
- Help build community by supporting resident events and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people wanting to stay
- Work with the team to develop best in class procedures as we establish how Yardhouse runs
- Consistently deliver the Moda service standards to residents and visitors
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience in residential property, co-living, PBSA or hospitality (private rented sector experience an advantage)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills
- Strong customer relations skills, a sense of humour and plenty of energy
- Genuinely enjoys people and community, and understands that in co-living the relationships you build are the product
- Pro-active and able to use initiative to build the building's reputation and find new ways to grow revenue
- Professional, confident and outgoing
- Well organised, able to multitask, problem solve and stay calm under pressure
- A strong team player who's happy to support colleagues and put ideas forward
- Comfortable working to targets with good attention to detail, and understands the importance of deadlines and quality
- Knows White City and West London well, or is keen to get to know its people, culture and social scene
