First Federation Trust a multi academy trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset are looking to appoint a Growth, Partnerships and Funding Manager. This is a new and exciting role within the Operations team to lead the development, sustainability and growth of high-quality wraparound childcare provision across the Trust's schools and to seek and maximise funding and income generation opportunities. This is a hybrid role based at the First Federation Offices, Sidmouth with travel across Plymouth, South Devon and Dorset.
First Federation Trust are looking for a proactive, organised and impact-driven professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, families and communities through high-quality childcare provision. You will bring a strong track record of securing external funding, developing successful partnerships and managing projects that deliver measurable results.
The postholder will identify funding opportunities, prepare bids and grant applications, co-ordinate external childcare contracts, and provide operational support to schools delivering in-house breakfast clubs, after-school clubs and nursery provision. The successful candidate will be a confident relationship-builder, able to work effectively with school leaders, childcare providers, local authorities, funding bodies and Trust colleagues.
You will possess excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling funding bids, grant applications and reports supported by robust evidence and financial information. The role will be responsible ensuring compliance with relevant grant requirements, and supporting the Trust's strategic ambition to expand access to affordable, high-quality childcare.
