We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children within a SEN school environment. Duties
- Support pupils with special educational needs in the classroom and during activities
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning support
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with autism, disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
- A caring and patient attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children across different age groups
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development
- Organised and proactive attitude towards supporting inclusive education programmes
