The Administrator will provide digital assistance to the Wirral Change general advisory service teams. Supporting the development of marketing and promotional materials in multilingual facets to reach diverse communities across the North-West. The role focuses on improving Wirral Change’s reach to those most vulnerable to overcome barriers, updating the Wirral Change website & social media and managing booking appointments for everyday issues including housing, benefits, digital access, employment, healthcare and accessing local services.
Working as part of a friendly frontline team, the Administrator will ensure people receive timely support whilst helping the digital infrastructure of the charity where needed.
+ Essential Skills & Experience
· Experience providing administrative support within a busy office, charity or community setting.
· Strong organisational skills, including managing appointments, diaries and competing priorities.
· Excellent digital skills, confidence using Microsoft Office, online booking systems and databases.
· Experience updating websites, social media platforms or digital content.
· Ability to produce clear and engaging promotional materials for diverse audiences.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail when entering data and maintaining accurate records.
· Ability to communicate sensitively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
· Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a busy frontline team.
+ Main Duties
· Provide administrative support to the project team, including managing enquiries, referrals and appointment bookings.
· Respond to telephone, email and online enquiries, ensuring individuals receive clear and timely information.
· Maintain accurate and confidential client records, consent forms, referral information and supporting documents.
· Monitor referral and appointment progress, following up with individuals and partner organisations when required.
· Record and map the geographic coverage of support provided across the North-West, helping identify gaps and areas of demand.
· Produce and distribute accessible, multilingual promotional materials across the North-West.
· Update Wirral Change’s website and social media channels with relevant service information.
· Support the organisation of outreach sessions, community events, webinars and partner briefings.
· Liaise with community organisations, charities and referral partners to promote the service and improve its reach.
· Distribute and collect client feedback forms, accurately recording responses and highlighting recurring themes.
· Follow safeguarding, GDPR, confidentiality and organisational policies and procedures at all times.
