Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving breakfast offerings, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and a keen eye for food safety standards. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant settings is highly desirable. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your culinary and guest service skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Must work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist guests with their orders, providing friendly and professional guest services
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, and coffee machines
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with courteous communication and excellent phone etiquette
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless breakfast experience for all guests
- Assist with meal preparation tasks as required, supporting overall kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred; experience as a barista or in culinary roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or hotel/restaurant environments is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; weekend availability is a plus
- A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well within a team are essential
Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
